Welcome to The Grove House: A Fresh Chapter Begins Today at Sawgrass Grove
A new name, a refreshed dining room, and a new menu—there’s plenty to discover at The Grove House.
FMK Hospitality Group is excited to welcome guests to The Grove House today, Monday, October 19, as the restaurant formerly known as Sawgrass Tavern opens its doors following a week of renovations and team training. Located at Sawgrass Grove in The Villages, The Grove House brings a fresh look and a new dining experience to a familiar gathering place.

A Place to Gather
At the heart of The Grove House is a simple idea: good food brings people together.
Whether you’re catching up with neighbors over lunch, planning a relaxed dinner with friends, or enjoying an evening out, The Grove House invites you to settle in and stay awhile. The remodeled dining room takes inspiration from the warmth of a lodge, creating an inviting setting with a modern touch.
The new name reflects that spirit—a house where guests can gather, get acquainted, and make another visit part of their routine.
Familiar Comfort, an Elevated Touch
The transformation continues at the table with a new menu of New American cuisine, featuring American comfort food with an elevated twist.
From appetizers made for sharing to satisfying handhelds and hearty entrées, the menu offers plenty of reasons to find a new favorite. It’s an approach built around the pleasure of a good meal: familiar flavors, thoughtful touches, and something you’ll look forward to ordering again.

Pair your meal with a cocktail, explore the wine selection, or save room for dessert and a little more conversation.
Come See What’s New
Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, and we can’t wait to share it with you. To everyone who knew us as Sawgrass Tavern, thank you for being part of our story. To those visiting for the first time, welcome to the table.
